Elaine translated is “light”, with her bright and engaging personality enjoys a wide circle of friends, and approaches new experiences with curiosity.  I was born in the Island of Jamacia and I grew up in a large family with ten siblings.  I gave my heart to the Lord at a young age.  I’ve faced many challenges during my walk with the Lord but never gave up on God; my trials have helped me to grow stronger and build perseverence.

I am a member of a local church in Toronto.  I occasionally serve in the ladies and nursing department.  I enjoy praise & worship on Sunday mornings as it is the fire that ignites the service.

I was introduced to Ignite Ministry by a friend and attended one of the ladies retreats.  That retreat I attended was ver memorable for me as there was a mighty outpouring of the holy spriit on that weekend.  I felt the passion and love pour into God’s people and the willingness to reach women that were lost, hopeless, and hurting.  My commitment daily is to seek God early in the morning, to pray for the lost souls, and especially the young harvest.  My desire is to see the youth grow and develop a passion for God.  1 John 2:14 says, “I have written to you young mand, because you are strong and the word of God abides in you.”

Favorite Scripture:  2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
