Vernita is a prayer warrior who is faithful and committed with a positive outlook on life. She has been married to her wonderful husband for 44 years, and they have two children who are both serving the Lord in ministry.

She was born and raised in a Christian home, and gave her heart to the Lord when she was 10 years old.She has been involved in church ministry most of her life, serving in different areas including Sunday School teacher, youth leader, women’s ministry, and has served as Pastor along with her husband for the last 5 years.

Vernita joined the Ignite team in 2010, and her passion is for the heart of God, and women who are hurting.
