Madeline was born and raised in Newfoundland, where she experienced traumatic loss when her mother and two little sisters were killed in a car accident when she was only 12 years old. She came to Toronto in 1973 and rededicated her life to the Lord in 1979.

 

Madeline has been married for over 30 years to Ralph, a wonderful man of God. They have three children, (Stephen, Sarah and Shawna) and five grandchildren (David, Josiah, Jovannah, Mya and Mackenzie). Madeline has been saved for 35 years and is a faithful member of her church where she has served in several capacities: choir, worship team, nursery, children’s church, Singles Ministry, and the Intercessory Prayer Team. At the end of 2011, she took early retirement from her job at York University where she worked for 25 years. Since retiring she has been busier than ever. She doesn’t know how she ever found time to work! She is thoroughly enjoying her retirement. She likes to go South on vacation for long periods in the winter and is free to babysit her grandchildren during parts of the summer months.

 

Madeline joined the Ignite Team in 2012 and serves as secretary/treasurer. She is willing to serve in any capacity on the Team to help those who are hurting, in need of ministry, prayer or who need other tangible blessings. One of her passions is worship. She loves to sing songs of worship to her King and spend time with Him communing one-on-one. The Lord is drawing her into intimacy with Him where He will give her words of encouragement for others. The Lord loves to wake her up in the middle of the night to spend time with Him and her desire is to be obedient to His call.
